I thought it was more funny than anything though. I feel like the fight would have been unsatisfying if it had been this ten minute long battle followed by the muto just flying away. Otherwise godzilla would have just killed it and there wouldn't be a fight with both of them at once. \r\n\r\nThe sequel's going to have a crapload of monsters so such things shouldn't be an issue next time.
