Gods are meant as a simple explanation created by men to better understand the world around them and it helps copping with the fact that yes, we are a simple speck of dust and like you explained, the chances of meeting other species is almost none and some can't deal with the fact that we're alone in a grand scale, and knowing that might be something up there caring for one is uplifting (personal views aside).\r\n\r\nMy personal belief is that Gods represent beings that have gone far into the evolution line and have gotten to a point we can't really comprehend.\r\n\r\nNot necessarily aliens, but among their own species.\r\n\r\n\"@Number1pegasus\":/dis/the-time-wasting-thread/post/543eea2e6368723640770200#post_543eea2e636872364077020
