If one subtracts the increased war time production the issues of the depression continued into the 50s where we got out of it because we dominated the world economy.\r\n\r\nFDR's New Deal prolonged the depression by a lot, but we was not of that generation, more like the prior generation.\r\nPoint: grandfathers lived through genuine scarcity without losing their dignit
