It seems conventional weapons such as cruise missiles, AA Guns, and Tank shells don't seem to harm them at all, if they were shot from conventional  non-mecha military machines such as tank, battleships, turret guns and missile launchers, and aircrafts. Yet, only if it is those laser swords, or shots and pummeling made by other mechas, would it harm them.
